There are huge numbers of fish-finding sonars on the market from several different manufacturers.  Those manufacturers have different marketing models and stress how "this" feature will revolutionize the sonar market or "that" feature will change the way you fish.

It can be a difficult thing to wade through the hype and determine what is the best unit to rig your catfishing boat.  Catfishing is becoming a high tech game, so let's move on and make an attempt at understanding what is really tech and what is not.
